We want to inform you that there is a possible case of chickenpox in school. Chickenpox is a common contagious illness that causes an itchy rash, fever and tiredness. It usually clears up on its own within 1 to 2 weeks. However, chickenpox can be more serious for certain individuals, including those who are pregnant or have weakened immune systems.

Please watch your child closely for any symptoms. If your child shows signs of illness, please keep them at home, inform us and contact your GP or NHS 111 for advice.
